On The Street

Fannie Mae has changed some guidelines with condo and townhouse purchases that are not PUD’s. We are seeing a minimum requirement of 25% down payment and around a .75 of a point charged due to a higher risk of default. The extra charge is especially hard to swallow as this doesn’t buy down the interest rate as points normally do. These guidelines have affected our sales in the Shores.
